Time to get your entry in for the OAMPS Insurance Brokers NSW Youth Championships

The October long weekend is fast approaching and now is the time to get your entry in for the OAMPS Insurance Brokers NSW Youth Championships.



Run by Yachting NSW, the Youth Championships is one of the most hotly contested regattas in Australia. In 2012 over 200 crews raced over the weekend which was hosted by Belmont 16’s on Lake Macquarie.



2013 will see the regatta held on the waters of Botany Bay with Georges River 16’ Sailing Club doing the hosting honours.



Part of the Youth Grand Prix, the regatta is open to Techno 293s, Laser 4.7s, Laser Radials, 420’s, 29ers, Flying 11s, Sabots (1 up), Optimists, and Hobie 16s. Other classes are welcome if they have a minimum of ten entries. Entries close on 20th September.



Crews, supporters, friends and family from all over Australia are welcome with action on the water and activities on the beach. This regatta is one that truly shows that sailing is an activity that the whole family can enjoy.
