Williams Performance Tenders were established in Oxfordshire, England in 2004 and quickly became market leaders in four stroke turbojet tenders. The company was established by John and Matthew Hornsby and Roy Parker who all came from various field of the marine industry from yacht building to wooden powerboats. With the creation of Williams Performance Jet Tenders came the first four-stroke jet tenders. In Australia, Allied Marine is the sole importer and distributor of Williams the hull, engine and all components factory fitted so they have plenty of confidence in their product.
Williams pride themselves on the safety aspects of these craft and incorporate several build considerations to deliver a safe as houses tender. One of the most important features is the ability to stay afloat if a puncture to the tube occurs. If the tube is compromised in any way and completely deflated, the boat is able to remain 100 per cent buoyant. IN addition, all Williams Jet tenders come with an automated fire extinguisher in the engine compartment not that you would have any trouble with the German designed and built AG Weber 104hp turbo charged ultra low emission engine in the Williams T325.
Continuing on with the safety theme, the jet tenders pose no threat to passengers and people swimming as there are no spinning blades that can harm people. That allows owners a certain peace of mind when out and about, particularly when young ones are about.
The hull of the T325 is of monocoque construction which gives it excellent rigidity and buoyancy. The deep V hull and spray rails give it good tracking behaviours and ensures the tender has a solid feeling, rather than the floating feeling you get in inflatables without the rigid hull. In fact not only are these exceptional tenders but can double as a ski or wakeboard boat with a ski hook included on this model.
The team at Williams have thought of everything with a unique bypass valve in every model to allow the Williams jet tender to be towed above four knots without damaging the engine. Other makers cannot claim to be so lucky. Storage abounds on this boat with an 11 litre storage compartment forward of helm station and another 60 litre storage compartment under the bow seating.
The features of the T325 don’t end there. If you are serious about your tender and don’t like to miss out on your music while onboard, 2 or 4 speaker cd/mp3 sound systems are an option with ladders, cockpit lighting, quick release steering wheels also a possible inclusion.
