The Salona 35 is a luxury performance cruising yacht exceptionally well built, with a great turn of speed, yet very simple to sail singlehandedly. The ‘sailors’ cockpit boasts twin wheels, loads of seating room, easy access to control lines and winches and great visibility. Internally, the Salona 35 is beautifully finished with teak throughout, large roomy cabins, well laid out salon and galley. Salona yachts are made by AD Boats in Split Croatia. They are part of the Prevent Group, a German multinational that employs 12,000 employees with more than 38 production facilities worldwide and a major supplier to the car industry with clients including Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche.

We have chosen the Salona 35 based on feedback from existing owners who want luxury and that little bit of extra speed which comes in handy with passage sails to Pittwater or getting to and from your favourite anchorage.

Yacht syndication is an affordable, enjoyable and convenient way to own a luxury yacht. The principle is simple, you buy a share in our magnificent Salona 35 and then enjoy fully serviced, walk?on walk off sailing. Your yacht will be immaculately maintained by our professional staff, and you will never need to clean or repair your yacht.

We offer 10% shares, which enables at least 33 days “maintenance free” sailing per year. Additional days are available on a stand by basis.

We berth your yacht in Darling Harbour at our base at the Festival Pontoon, Maritime Museum in Sydney. The capital cost of a 10% share is $27,500 and the annual fee is $5,520. This includes all insurance, registration, berthing fees, maintenance and fuel usage.

The syndicate operates for a fixed term of three years and when the time is up, the yacht is then sold and the proceeds distributed to each owner. For the life of the syndicate, Sydney By Sail will provide a ‘walk on walk off’ service to maximise your time with family and friends on the water.
